~Arctic Fox Virgin Pink~

~Arctic Fox Virgin Pink~

                                                     Sometime beginning of March
Ok so before I go into this review this isn't a full review but since I only have 2 posts on here so far I decided to post what I think of it so far.
One morning a few weeks after dyeing my hair with MP Cotton Candy Pink I received a package in the mail. I had no idea what it was until I cut the tape open releasing the most amazing smell ever.
It was 4 bottles of Arctic Fox that my mom had secretly sent me in the mail because I told her about how much I wanted to try it, so there I am like 5 mins after waking up with my new dye.

First thing I have to say about this dye is it smells absolutely amazing kinda like the Pixie Stix candy, you can literally smell it before the seal on the inside is broken. Although I was a little skeptical about how well this dye worked but I really wanted to try it for myself.

Before dye

Before I dye my hair I always want to get it to blonde base or as close as possible unless I am going to have a darker color or if it is the same color and brand. I did do a lot to get it to a blonde base with only having to use bleach once but that will be in the next post.

Mixing the dye
Most of the time I dye my hair I always add some white conditioner to it so I can use less dye, as you can't really see because the other photos were blurry I had a percentage of  about 40% white conditioner and 60% Virgin Pink dye. I didn't want to lighten the color too much because I wanted it to be closest to what the color would be by itself.

This dye did not disappoint, it is so bright! I almost feel like I am wearing a wig because it is so vibrant and the color is so uniform I was completely amazed. After washing the dye out there was no bleeding at all. They say on the website that it doesn't stain like other brands do and I can so far say for this color that is it true, I've had nothing turn pink on me so far.

This was taken after 2 washes and it is still so incredibly bright, it looks like I just dyed it yesterday!
The color only bleeds when I shampoo it but still it doesn't stain my shower at all. I've read some places that Arctic Fox will last for months before starting to fade which is crazy amazing.

About 2 more washes later and it hasn't faded noticeably one bit, it may look it in the photo but it was just terrible lighting. Some things I want to tell you about Arctic Fox that make me love it ever more are as followed : AF is completely made from 100% vegan ingredients, it is cruelty free, no animal by-products, extra conditioning, no peroxide or ammonia, and is PPD free. Arctic Fox also donates 15% of their profits to prevent animal abuse and you also help support 2 organizations called Second Chance Animal Shelter  and International Fund for Animal Welfare.

So above I decided to really quick take 2 photos a minute apart but in different lighting to show you that it also looks darker or lighter depending on the lighting.  I really like this dye so far it doesn't bleed onto towels, or stain showers. Also if you are looking to try this dye please go here Arctic Fox Virgin Pink. They offer 2 different sizes a 4oz bottle for $7.99 and an 8oz bottle for $13.99 which if you think that $13.99 is a lot for an 8oz bottle Manic Panic sells their 4oz bottles for $13.99 so buying AF is like so much cheaper, and they also will have sales depending on the holiday or season as of today April 24th 2016 they are having a spring sale for pastel colors. So if you want this color but want to dilute it they offer a diluter called Arctic Mist, and both the Arctic Mist and Virgin Pink are on sale in a bundle with an 8oz bottle of both for $20+ S&H. That is pretty much it for now! Thanks for reading!
